Hello and welcome to my personal website.

I was born April 17, 1972, in Sabac, Serbia. After a primary school in Debrc and secondary school in Obrenovac (Technical School Obrenovac), I've earned a BSc and MSc degree from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade.

Married (Suzana), with two kids (Stefan and Vid).

Work

In 2010 I've established dooConsult, an independent consulting and new technology firm, specialized in change management, innovation- and process-driven strategy, plannning and execution solutions, with clear mission - “to help businesses, organizations and governments to work better and deliver more”.

Soon after I've accepted a post of an Assistant Director in the Institute for Informatics and Statistics, City Administration of Belgrade, responsible for IT infrastructure and services. I'm among only few managers of this rank in the governement sector and state-owned companies who are not members of any political party.

Since 1998 I've worked on a vast number of technology, business and government projects in Serbia and all around the world. Among my clients were Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, T-Systems Nordic, Tallysman Wireless, Inselspital Bern, Universitatsspital Zurich, The Singularity Institute, Stonehouse Technologies (now Symphony SMS), Felix Lembersky Art Center, Egyii Consulting, and many more. In 2001 I have accepted the invitation from President Boris Tadic, then the Minister of the Federal Government, and joined the Ministry of Telecommunications in a capacity of an associate. I have also worked on the projects of Serbian Ministry of Education and Ministry of Justice.

Research

I work on a doctoral dissertation wih the working title of "Business Process Interoperability in Postal Industry: Models and Solutions" at the University of Belgrade, my alma mater. I'm one paper published in a journal with Impact Factor away from the final procedure and the dissertation defense. I'm currently doing research for a few journal papers and expect the dissertation defense in 2012.

I've published and presented over 30 papers in the leading scientific conferences and journals, including the eChallenges conferences (2002 in Prague, 2003 in Bologna, 2004 in Vienna, 2006 in Barcelona), IASTED CIIT 2002 in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, IADIS 2002 in Lisbon, IFIP World Computer Congress 2004 in Toulouse, Bled eConference 2006 in Bled, and all the major conferences in Serbia. Papers were indexed in the major indexing databases, with one paper cited in the Science Citation Index. I have also been involved in the projects and conferences supported and funded by the European Commission and other relevant bodies.
